Andrea's arrival is good news for all of you thing users out there, as our new Marketing and Sales intern, she'll be working toward getting more people to know and use thing, which will in turn make your life as a facilitator easier.

Cyberlab Prelab - one week of pure startup focus

As a startup you need to learn and start a lot of things at once: your value proposition, lean startup methods, user testing, business models, finances, legal topics, prototyping, UX/UI testing, pitches. The local startup accelerator CyberLab did a kind of a one week bootcamp end of June.

Kicking off MMP development

Right after the PreLab we turned into our next adventure. The first phase of thing was about coming together as founders, doing a first series of user interviews to better shape our product and doing important technical spikes to test feasibility.

We will join CyberLab!

At thing we believe that we need external mentoring and coaching as well as external funding to help making it successful. For an early startup like us joining an startup accelerator program is a next step along that direction.

Moving to CyberLab

As we moved into February we also moved offices. Since beginning of the month we are part of the CyberLab Startup Accelerator here in Karlsruhe. Interestingly this is located in the Höpfner brewery areal, so we’ve moved from brewery to brewery 🍻.

From the bench to the pitch
